The Kadena Falcon Articles and Patti Cohoon

The coverage the Pacers received from the Kadena Falcon newspaper simply wouldn’t have happened without Patti Cohoon, who was the editor at the time. Patti took our terrible handwritten notes and turned them into real articles about the races. Eventually, I started writing the pieces myself—Patti would clean up the spelling and grammar and then give them a good, heavy edit.

Patti was our champion. She made sure we had exposure, helped us get our story out there and really handled the marketing side before we even knew that’s what it was.
